* Field Engineering position as Plant Engineer located in a food facility in Independence, MO
* Extensive field walk down work involving climbing, field measurements and manual sketching equpiment locations, packaging equipment, and process P&ID's/
* Analyze the client's needs, and define the technical requirements for bottle packaging lines and food process P&ID's.
* Create equipment data sheets, drawings, and construction scopes of work.
* Create Project & Construction Schedules.
* Capable to organize and run projects on-site and to manage off site engineering resources.
* Capable to develop project and engineering scopes of work.
* Established success meeting project budgets.
* Experienced in managing contractors and providing construction oversight.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Middle level engineer, highly energetic and motivated to learn and develop.
* Willingness to learn technical skills and advance in project management.
* Good understanding on the packaging line design process and equipment.
* Knowledgeable on P&ID development and walkdown.
* Experience on the codes (including International Mechancial, Energy Conservation, Plumbing, Fire and Fuel Gas Codes) and engineering standards (including NFPA standards).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong computer skills, Microsoft Project, and some capability in AutoCAD.
